iVim is a project that brings the Vim editor to the iOS system. It is an open-source project, and for more information, please visit the App Support URL.

Font Management:

• iVim allows users to import and use their own custom fonts, in addition to system and embedded monospace fonts.
• The app supports rendering ligatures if your font provides beautiful ones.

Extended Keyboard:

• iVim provides an extended keyboard that includes compact buttons, covering as many keys as possible.
• You can easily input symbols without switching among key groups.
• Customization options are available to meet your special needs.

Multistage Language Input:

• iVim includes support for multistage input languages such as Chinese or Japanese.

Sharing:

• iVim allows you to share its editing power with other apps.
• Through the share extension, you can import or export text or text files from/to other apps.
• The document picker enables you to import, edit, or view files and directories in iCloud Drive or other document providers without leaving iVim.

External Hardware Keyboard:

• iVim has excellent support for external hardware keyboards.
• You can connect your favorite keyboard to the device and start typing effortlessly.
• In iOS 13.4 and above, the app supports native modifier keys mapping, allowing the "caps lock" key to act both as "ctrl" and "esc".

External Commands:

• iVim includes useful external commands and integrates powerful scripting languages like Python and Lua.
• The app also features a +terminal option, enabling you to run commands in terminal windows similar to a computer.

Plugins Management (In App Purchase required):

• iVim provides a plugins manager, called "iplug", which allows easy installation and management of plugins.

Version Control (iVim Pro required):

• iVim has a native version control system integrated into its user interface and workflow.
• With this feature, you can effortlessly track the changes to your files, make edits confidently, and collaborate more conveniently.

iVim Pro:

iVim offers a monthly subscription called "iVim Pro" that provides extra great features:

• Native version control.

Subscriptions will be charged to your Apple ID account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions in Account Settings on the App Store after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if applicable, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.
